Types Of Pediatric Evaluations We Offer

Our therapists are experts in evaluating and treating children who have difficulties moving their bodies or are having issues communicating. We attain results by correcting or improving motor impairments, providing resources for missing skills and building on existing abilities. Pediatric therapy promotes independence, increases participation, facilitates motor development and function, improves strength and endurance, enhances learning opportunities.

Sensory Profile 2

The Sensory Profile 2 quickly assesses and organizes your child’s information, generates scores, and produces accurate, comprehensive reports. These significantly revised questionnaires provide caregivers and therapists with deeper insight to help customize the next steps of intervention.


The Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency Second Edition (BOT™-2) is an individually administered test that uses engaging, goal-directed activities to measure a wide array of motor skills in children.


The Movement ABC-2 assessment is paralleled by an observational approach to perceptual-motor aspects and emotional and motivational difficulties the child may have in relation to motor tasks.

Berry VMI

The BEERY VMI 6th Ed provides approximately 600 age-specific norms from birth through age 6. These consist basic gross motor, fine motor, visual, and visual-fine motor developmental “stepping stones” that have been identified by research criteria.


The Peabody Developmental Motor Scales is a nationally standardized assessment that provides information on a child’s overall motor capabilities. The PDMS-2 is composed of 6 sub tests that measure interrelated motor abilities. The six sub tests are:

  • Reflexes
  • Stationary
  • Locomotion
  • Object Manipulation
  • Grasping
  • Visual Motor Integration


The Developmental Assessment of Young Children is an individually administered, norm reference measure of early childhood that can be sued to identify developmental delays. The DAYC-2 measures a children development in 5 domains.

The Alberta Infants Motor Scale is a valid measure of motor development in preterm infants, and may be useful in a clinical setting as a routine screening test to detect preterm infants with motor delays. The test observes an infant in four different testing positions:

  • Supine
  • Prone
  • Sitting
  • Standing
