Andrew Morrison, a native of Maryland, earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition from Virginia Tech, then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB).
Andrew’s passion for working with children became evident even before entering PT school, inspiring him to volunteer with pediatric wheelchair basketball and tennis programs during his studies.
These volunteer experiences deepened his commitment to pediatric care, guiding his clinical focus throughout his education.
Through his diverse clinical rotations, Andrew gained experience treating patients in the hospital neuro unit, outpatient orthopedics, and outpatient pediatrics.
During his pediatric clinical rotation, Andrew truly found his calling, particularly in pediatric orthopedics.
He received comprehensive training in treating pediatric patients with developmental delays, musculoskeletal injuries, and neurological diagnoses of various medical complexities.
This specialized training ignited his interest in pediatrics, where he discovered his ability to make a significant impact on young patients’ lives.
Andrew is dedicated to providing excellent, evidence-based treatment tailored to the goals and needs of his patients and their families.
His approach is characterized by a deep commitment to understanding each child’s unique challenges and developing personalized treatment plans that support their long-term growth and well-being.
