Donna, a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant, graduated from Maria College in Albany, NY with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science OTA in 2019. For the past four years, she has been actively involved in both school-based and outpatient pediatrics within the DMV area. Her unwavering love for children and her commitment to helping them meet their developmental milestones have been the driving forces behind her career.
Before embarking on her journey in Occupational Therapy, Donna spent several years working in preschool and special education classrooms. During this time, she served as both a lead teacher and an assistant, fostering a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges children face. It was during these formative years that Donna discovered her innate passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
Now, as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, Donna finds immense joy in equipping the children she works with the necessary tools to excel in their lives. She believes in making therapy sessions not only effective but also enjoyable, creating a fun, meaningful, and motivating environment. Donna understands the importance of helping children reach their developmental milestones, and she is dedicated to guiding them through this transformative journey.
