Arlette is a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant whose journey from Guyana to Washington, DC, inspired her dedication to helping children flourish. She nurtured her passion for healthcare at Oakwood University, then spent ten years at Georgetown University Hospital gaining extensive pediatric experience.

Arlette’s holistic approach recognizes that therapy encompasses physical, emotional, and mental well-being. She delivers interventions such as neurodevelopmental training (NDT), core strengthening, balance and gait training, and caregiver education to empower families. Guided by her faith and church experiences, she developed strong leadership and communication skills that enhance her compassionate care.

Her desire to uplift others motivated her to found Open Door Cards, a mental health and wellness greeting card line offering encouragement to those facing adversity. She also authored Look at That, I’m off my Back! – Practical Ideas for Preventing Flat Head Syndrome, underscoring her commitment to preventative pediatric strategies. Above all, Arlette remains driven by her mission to bring healing, positivity, and empowerment to every child and family she supports. ​
