Alexis is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with a deep passion for helping children find their voices. Originally from West Virginia, she earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from West Virginia University before moving to Maryland to pursue her graduate degree in Speech Pathology.

Throughout her clinical training, Alexis gained diverse experience working with children in various settings, including Gigi’s Playhouse, a Down syndrome achievement center, and public schools. She specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and excels at using play-based therapy to foster language development in young learners.

Alexis prides herself on providing individualized speech and language support to help students thrive in their academic and social environments. Her commitment to making therapy engaging and meaningful allows her to create strong connections with the children she serves, empowering them to communicate with confidence.
