Samantha Tobon is a licensed occupational therapist with experience working with individuals of all ages. She has been an occupational therapist for three years, with most of her experience being in pediatric settings. She obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2018 from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA.
Samantha joins Triumph Therapeutics after working as a travel occupational therapist in various states. She has worked in New Mexico, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland and DC as a licensed occupational therapist. Samantha has experience working in outpatient pediatrics, outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and in community-based settings. She has volunteered in therapy clinics abroad and is passionate about occupational justice and working with children in underrepresented communities. Samantha believes that all children have the right to play, learn, and thrive.
Samantha strongly believes in continuing education and evidence-based practice. She has received training in best-practice for working with infants, individuals with autism, feeding therapy, sensory integration, executive function, and much more. Samantha is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and stays up to date on the latest research and evidence-based practices for children and youth. Samantha values spending time with loved ones, exploring the DMV’s many amazing restaurants, traveling, and spending time in nature.
