Rachel Riback

I am a speech-language therapist who has been practicing for 5 years in the DCPS school system. I obtained my BS in Elementary and Special Education from Temple University in 2009 and then eventually went to graduate school at UDC and got my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

I work with the pediatric population and have experience with a wide range of communication disorders and severity levels including articulation, expressive/ receptive language, fluency, articulation/phonology, and social-emotional/ pragmatic skills.

My special interests include working with Autistic and developmentally delayed children and implementing different modalities of communication for them to use such as high and low-tech alternative and augmentative communication tools. Outside of my career, I enjoy being active and traveling to new places. I also love animals enjoy live music and learning new things.
